1971 – Flares were in cheesecloth shirts, tank tops, platform shoes, the car to be seen in was the Ford Capri. North London was the footballing Mecca of England, as Arsenal capture the League Championship. A pint of beer would cost you 6p, Rolling Stones, Ringo Starr, R Dean Taylor and Olivia Newton John were all having big hit singles.
